Setup guide
01
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, which custom connectors need. On Business and Enterprise plans, a workspace admin may need to allow it.
02
Choose Create, name it SignageX, paste the connector URL and select OAuth for authentication. Sign in with your SignageX account and choose what ChatGPT may do.
03
In a new chat, enable SignageX from the tools menu and ask. ChatGPT asks before it publishes, reboots or deletes anything.
Menu names can change as ChatGPT updates its apps.

The assistant signs in with your SignageX account and can only do what your own role allows, in your own organisation.
On the sign-in screen you decide whether it may create and edit, publish, manage players or delete. Viewing is always included.
Publishing, rebooting and deleting are marked as changes, so the assistant asks you first. Deletes show what will be affected before anything is removed.
Remove access from Developer options → Connected apps in your SignageX dashboard, or remove the connector in your assistant.
FAQ
Plans, permissions and privacy for the SignageX connector in ChatGPT.
Ask our teamYou need a ChatGPT plan that supports custom connectors in developer mode. On Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to enable developer mode or allow the connector first.
Only if you grant the publish permission when you sign in, and only on screens your role can manage. The assistant tells you which screens are affected and asks before it publishes.
Only what it looks up to answer you: names, schedules, player status and similar details from your account. SignageX doesn't send your data to the assistant on its own. Your assistant provider's own privacy terms apply to your conversations.
The assistant holds a short-lived key that it renews in the background. If it isn't used for 30 days, you sign in again. Disconnecting ends access straight away.
No. The connector runs on SignageX's servers. You only add the URL in your assistant and sign in.
Set up your account and screens, then let ChatGPT help run them.
